Why an Absalon course room about digital literacy?

As part of the UCPH Strategy 2023, it has been decided that all students, as part of their Bachelor’s degree programme, should acquire knowledge of five topics within digitalisation.
The topics are gathered in the UCPH model for students’ digital literacy and competences

It is up to the management of the individual faculties to decide how the model and the topics are to be incorporated into the individual educational programmes – a process that is currently underway. This means that the concrete incorporation will look different from faculty to faculty and from education to education.

It will not be all lecturers who will have to cover the model's topics in their courses, but all lecturers will have access to the resources via this course room.
The course room is organised according to the topics in the UCPH model, and, under each topic, you will find both short lessons and often also longer courses that can be integrated into your own courses.
