Introduction
Setting up plans in emergency situations becomes more and more supported by new ways of getting information out of the field. It directly coming out of the field, very recent and it is also coming directly from the beneficiaries. This will have influence on how to set up new emerging plans.
Reflection
At the end the speaker comes up with the following part: ”The possibilities that new digital technologies are bringing can help humanitarian organizations, not only ensure that people's right to information is met, or that they have their right to communicate, but I think in the future, humanitarian organizations will also have to anticipate the right for people to access critical communication technologies in order to ensure that their voices are heard,….”
