Introduction
There exist different definitions of international armed conflict.[1], [2],[3]
Watch the ICTY judge Fausto Pocar lecture on development of international humanitarian law and focus particular on definition of international armed conflict elaborated within case law of International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia, as well as the lecture of judge Theodor Meron on the Prosecution of War Crimes by International Tribunals (the same ICTY) and use to apply general principles to contemporary case.
