Is online sports gambling totally legal in New Jersey? Yes. As long as you follow the law and you deposit with a licensed online sportsbook. You can still enjoy the game legally, so don't worry.

In late June of 2021 the New Jersey Assembly passed a bill legalizing online sports betting in New Jersey. As expected, the governor was happy and promised that the "사설토토" solved. Unfortunately, two weeks later the Senate voted against the bill and it is now in the House where it is expected to face a grudge from both sides of the aisle. The House already passed a version that legalized online gambling in March, so there may be more hiccups before the bill gets to the governor's desk.

Two major New Jersey bookmakers have already announced that they are planning to offer sports betting apps for iPhone and Android in the near future. State of New Jersey officials expect at least one major sportsbook to offer sports betting apps by mid-2021. Will that be the I exploited version of the New Jersey legalized sportsbook i proposed? I suspect not. The state of New Jersey already allows live wagering and allows counties to regulate gaming.

If a state allows online sports betting sites and regulates them, why would anyone oppose the idea? Some opponents claim that the state's law allowing only licensed establishments to operate online sports betting sites violates the rights of consumers. This may not be true, but that doesn't give the opponent's any right to attack the entire industry, or the idea of regulated wagers. If you really believe that consumers have no rights in this case, then you should go run for the hills.

If the New Jersey legislature passes a bill legalizing sports betting apps in New Jersey, it won't become legal until after the 2021 election. How is that for accountability? You see, the only way for this bill to become law is for the voters to approve it during their upcoming election. If the voters approve it by a large majority, that gives the legislature a mandate to pass it and for Gov. Christie to sign it into law. If he vetoes it, he can simply come up with a new bill to get it passed again.

The point is that this isn't about the New Jersey governorship or the governorship of the state of New Jersey, it's about the future of online sportsbooks and gambling in general. If the New Jersey legislature passes a bill legalizing gambling in December of2019, there will be a problem in Illinois. Illinois will no longer allow any Illinois casinos. But the problem is that if there was really a problem in Illinois, why wouldn't the governorship and legislature wanted to solve it before they left office?
