NVivo and numerical representation

Please be aware that although NVivo can provide numerical representations of your coding, it does not amount to statistics. The figures simply inform you about how much a coding, a word, or a part of an image constitutes of the total text, audio file or image. They should therefore not be used to draw statistical conclusions. If you are interested in conducting a statistical analysis of large amounts of text, you would be well-advised to use R or Python.
