The University of Copenhagen's version of NVivo does not have a built-in collaboration feature.
Therefore, if several people wish to collaborate on a project, they are dependent on continually merging the different versions of the project. In this context, you should agree on which file naming conventions and folder structures to use. If there is no agreement on this, it can affect whether NVivo can merge multiple versions of a project.

If your NVivo project relies on a dedicated collaboration solution, it is possible to purchase access to NVivo Collaboration Cloud. This is a module that allows the project to be saved in the cloud. It works in such a way that a project manager uploads a master version of the project, after which the other participants download the master version and work on it, after which it is uploaded again. The project manager then merges the different contributions with the master file.
